This is Isaac's main blog, covering a range of cultural topics. As the title indicates, the entries here stick to visual or written materials worthy of comment, explication, or at least description. At present, there are items of cultural criticism, book reviews, art exhibition reviews, film previews, critical glances at critics, and more. Sorry I haven't been updating this, but I've been busy.
I thought I'd try out this Tumblr thing. Still not sure about its utility, but it does have a cool feature where you can call in and leave a message from your phone and record an audio post straight to your stream. That's cool, but I havn't used it much lately either.
This is Isaac's much older blog about visual culture. It's no longer updated, but it set the tone for the more recent Verb / Image. Eventually the rest of Visculture's materials will migrate to Verb / Image. Eventually.
